ArtWorks San Diego (AWSD) Seeks a Full-Time Art Installer

ArtWorks San Diego offers a full range of museum-quality services including climate-controlled storage, in-house crate construction, custom installation and sculpture rigging, weekly shuttles, and world-wide shipping. AWSD is a TSA-Certified Cargo Screening Facility.

This is a full-time, hourly position with a typical work week, Monday – Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00pm. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and able to pass a TSA background check. Position pay is commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

Work as a Team Member with On-Site Packing Projects
Work as a Team Member on Complex Installation Projects
Drive Local Transportation on Commercial Vehicle
Work as a Team Member in Storage and Warehouse Maintenance

Requirements

Strong Understanding of Object Care
Strong Understanding of Art Handling Industry Standards
Experience with Fundamental Hand and Shop Power Tools
Knowledge of Installation Materials
Must Have a Clean Driving Record
Respectful Communication to all Team Members and Clients
