Tanya Bonakdar Gallery, Los Angeles is searching for highly professional Art Handlers and Preparators for upcoming installations. Candidates must have years of high-level gallery and/or museum installation experience. Hours are as-needed and will vary depending on the gallery schedule. Hourly wages are competitive and commensurate with experience.

Assisting our head preparators with installation and deinstallation needs in exhibitions and private viewing rooms.
Packing and preparing of artworks for various shipping needs.
General upkeep of the gallery including patching and painting walls.
Condition reporting of artworks.
Requirements
The ideal candidates have the following:
Experience working in major galleries or institutions in Los Angeles.
Exemplary knowledge of best practices while handling, installing, and packing artworks.
The ability to follow complex instructions and pay close attention to all details, safety, and clean-up.
Have great communications skills and a positive, professional attitude.
