Roberts Projects is seeking a highly enthusiastic, self-motivated and hard-working full-time Interim Registrar.
Responsibilities
Writing and tracking consignment and loan agreements
Arranging shipping for private sales, exhibition and artfairs
Coordinating installation and deinstallation schedules for exhibitions
and artfairs
Arranging artwork fabrication, such as framing and stretching
Filing and organizing shipping documents
Scheduling photography sessions
Requirements
- Must have high-level organizational and time management skills with
the ability to handle multiple deadlines concurrently
- Knowledge of best art handling, packing, storage and transport
practices
Experience with Mac Operating Systems
Previous employment as a registrar or collections manager a must
Experience with Artbase preferred, though training can be provided
Must have valid California driver’s license
How to Apply
The position is interim, full time, Tuesday–Saturday, 11am–6pm and requires some flexibility. Compensation is commensurate with experience.
