Spike Art Magazine is looking for an experienced and highly motivated person to join the team as our Sales Director.
The ideal candidate will have have an in-depth knowledge of the global contemporary art world, with direct contacts to galleries, museums, public institutions, and cultural organizations, as well as auction houses, private art collections, and foundations. Connections to fashion labels and brands are a huge plus.
Those contacts will help to secure advertising sales in both print and digital media, bring in sponsorship deals, and sell artist editions, as well as to confirm paid editorial with labels and brands.
The position is freelance, flexitime, and worked remotely, with attendance at some in-person meetings required at Spike’s Berlin office. The role will report directly to the Publisher.
