ThePackengers Los Angeles is looking for an experienced art handler that can act as the lead on projects involving installation, de-installation, packing, crating and transportation of 2D and 3D artworks.
Compensation commensurate with experience.
Compensation would be hourly with ample opportunity for overtime, salary range to be considered base pay.
Job duties required but not limited to:
Installation and de-installation of 2D & 3D artworks.
Driving up to 26’ box truck transporting artworks, ensuring loads are properly secured to company standards.
Training assistant art handlers and maintaining standards in packing, installation and transport.
Taking detailed written and photographic condition reports of artworks
2-5 years experience as an art handler.
Experience driving a 26’ box truck and familiarity with the Los Angeles metro area.
Punctuality, effective communication and clear/legible handwriting.
Extensive knowledge of handling, packing, installation, de-installation of 2D and 3D artworks of various media.
Clean driving record and background check.
