Art Solutions & Installations, LLC has provided comprehensive fine art services to galleries, museums, artists, interior designers, auction houses, architects, and private collectors globally for over 20 years. Located in Scottsdale, Arizona, our company seeks a detail oriented, self-starter to serve as a full time Crate Shop Manager & Art Handler at our growing business. This position’s primary focus is to work with other team members and clients to produce professional, custom packing needs.

  • Manage the crate shop independently at the highest cleanliness and safety

  • Construct crates, pallets, pedestals & custom fabrication projects

  • Maintain equipment, supplies & materials

  • Inventory and order wood and supplies for each project

  • Installing and handling artwork of high value

  • Take direction from Department Leads to prioritize and expedite client requests

  • Problem solve crating and loading/offloading logistics; assist drivers

  • Prepare artwork appropriately for crating, transportation, and storage

  • Identify artwork in warehouse pertaining to specific collections

  • Transport, via truck, client work for collection, delivery, and installation

  • Work and communicate directly with Shipping Department and clients

  • Independently conduct Walk-Throughs at client’s residences, businesses, and institutions

  • Conduct written condition reports and photo documentation

  • Woodworking experience

  • Experience operating a forklift

  • Valid driver’s license and experience driving a truck

  • Understand all shop tools & equipment operations

  • Specialized involvement and knowledge in handling and installing artwork

  • Highly organized

  • Works well with others and is able to lead projects when necessary

  • Ability to work independently with little direction

  • Conduct oneself professionally under high-pressure situations

  • Ability to quickly identify and resolve problems, effectively prioritize, and manage time efficiently, ensuring projects stay on schedule

  • Demonstrates concern for detail, accuracy and precise execution of work

  • Excellent communication and creative problem-solving skills, both verbally and written

  • Must be able to independently lift/handle 50+ lbs. regularly
