Chemistry Creative is looking for a full-time creative director to join our team in Brooklyn, NY. We are an artist-led, multidisciplinary creative studio that designs transformative, humanity-centered experiences through innovative technology and thoughtful storytelling.

This person will lead our team of thinkers and doers and bring a mix of creative, brand-aligned expertise and market understanding to reimagine the growth of the studio and execute production projects with strong creative voice and vision. The role requires fluency in contemporary arts and culture, brand strategy, experiential marketing, and live events, and will play a critical part of the pitch process and support day-to-day relations with clients.

We’re looking for an experienced, hyper-collaborative manager of people, someone who can inspire others and take our creative and content teams to a new level as we continue to grow. The ideal candidate will have a natural eye/mind for design and creative technologies and as well as the drive to inspire creative strategy and experiential concepts that connect with our diverse portfolio of projects and clients.

Responsibilities

Drive marketing, media, and branding innovation and serve as a cross-functional change agent across the studio
Build, lead, and oversee the work of the content team and ensure that all relevant digital initiatives and client projects are integrated into a strategic-planning process for resource allocation and execution
Collaborate with Account Director and Consultant in establishing a unique, clear brand storytelling for Chemistry Creative and our projects, generating market-leading experiential solutions, analyzing results, and identifying opportunities
Independently digest client briefs and translate them into proposal decks, owning the full creative process across experiential strategy, proposal structure, and audience journey
Bring creative strategies forward for all projects and serve as the primary, client-facing pitch role to communicate the visions in a holistic manner
Work closely with top management to develop actionable creative visions that will deliver clear design and execution of projects and potentially expand the scope
Collaborate with Consultant on developing artistic content strategy for small-and-large-scale projects, highlighting the studio’s capabilities and growth
Ensure collaboration, knowledge sharing, and digital best practices between partners and colleagues to help implement a robust work ecosystem
Analyze brand tracking, market and art world trends, consumer need, and the competitive creative production landscape
Oversee working timeline and meet budget standards by forecasting and managing expenses
Identify new tools and measure ROI on digital projects, fine-tuning approaches as needed

Requirements

5+ years of experience spanning creative agency or digital media focused on branded campaigns and knowledge on navigating a media-led organization
A multi-faceted creative with experience in both copywriting and art direction
Have an expertise in building meaningful consumer/audience journeys and a strong portfolio or reel of work
Strong presentation and copywriting skills
A proven record building lasting partnerships and fostering teamwork that lead to wins
Overall expertise in experiential solutions, creative strategy, brand positioning, and how to ideate and execute for any partner across multiple verticals and at any budget
Exhibits empathy and openness to team members and is a strong team leader with dynamic communication and conflict resolution skills
Owns the strategy around project brainstorms and development, leading as a true creative partner in terms of both concept, positioning, and visual execution
Knowledge of and familiarity with Adobe Creative, Keynote, and Google Slides
