Judd Foundation was created in 1996 with the mission to maintain and preserve Donald Judd’s permanently installed living and working spaces, libraries, and archives in Marfa, Texas and New York. The Foundation promotes a wider understanding of Judd’s artistic legacy by providing access to these spaces and resources and by developing scholarly and educational programs. The Foundation is a 501 ©(3) non-profit organization.
Position
The Development and Events Assistant is an integral member of the Judd Foundation Development team. The person in this position will be the primary user of the Foundation’s donor database (Raiser’s Edge), and be will responsible for donor tracking, gifts management, and coordinating the Foundation’s Patron and Membership programs.
Additionally, the Development and Events Assistant will serve as the departmental administrator and will assist with planning and execution of all Judd Foundation events, including the Foundation’s annual Benefit Dinner, Patron cultivation events, New York programs, and donor visits. They will be responsible for mailings and donor correspondence including the Annual Appeal, as well as prospect research and preparation of decks and sponsorship materials, in addition to other duties as appropriate to the skills and interests of the individual. This position reports to the Director of Development and has significant interaction with Judd Foundation Board members and key stakeholders. This position is full-time at Judd Foundation’s 101 Spring Street office.
