The Executive Assistant reports directly to the CEO.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the CEO with partners, members of the board and staff.

  • Manage the CEO’s calendar and all scheduling, including preparation of materials.

  • Prepare analytical reports on various topics for the CEO.

  • Arrange travel plans for the CEO and members of his family including fight/trains tickets, car/jet hire, airport VIP lounges, hotels, restaurants, excursions and shops.

  • Control of execution of CEO’s instructions.

  • Manage affairs physically from the DC-based office.

  • Be responsible for correspondence including: receiving, forwarding appropriately, and filing;

  • Exercise judgment and discretion on replies, getting input from company staff as necessary

  • Compose letter based on verbal content description

  • Maintain office and relationship with the landlord, ensure the lease is current.

  • Manage bank accounts: ensure payments are made and deposits received

  • Be responsible for office supplies.

  • Be available for occasional online meetings convenient to Europe (early morning).

  • Competent with Microsoft Office products, messaging apps, and web-based meeting platforms.

  • Familiar with social media, when provided credentials, can post to Twitter, and Instagram.

  • Excellent communication skills via email, phone, and formal writing.

  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
