Job Overview:

The Growth Marketing and Communication Officer will manage ORIGYN Art´s marketing efforts for the purpose of introducing, establishing, and promoting brand awareness of ORIGYN Art and its platforms. The GMC officer will help the CMO execute the global marketing communications strategy.


These duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Work with a cross disciplinary team (Product, Services, Sales) to support business strategies and target markets to meet revenue goals

  • Collaborate with the art team and implement the outbound lead generation campaigns (B2B & B2C) and growth strategy

  • Contribute to establish the brand identity of Origyn Art

  • Liaise with design team to communicate marketing and communication goals

  • Develop press releases alongside the art research team and the Director of Communications at Origyn Foundation

  • Generate relationships with new and existing customers through social media

  • Liaise with designer and PR agencies

  • Prepare analytics on online traffic and engagement to evaluate the success of the campaigns

  • Identify digital trends and find new opportunities with support of the communications team

  • Act as a link between the team in the US and in Europe for marketing and communication

  • Engage, retain, and turn customers into advocates for Origyn

  • Develop referral programs and campaigns

  • Find ways to revive inactive subscribers and reduce marketing costs

  • Establish network of influencers to support Origyn Art’s marketing efforts

  • Manage paid advertising channels and negotiate optimal rates and partnership structure using target CPM and CPL rates

As the company is in the start-up stage the GMCO will also need to take care of the following responsibilities.

  • Proofread and edit text at various stages of the writing process and in response to feedback from writers or creative directors

  • Distribute all press releases and e-mail campaigns for ORIGYN Art´s marketing strategy

  • Take part in departmental meetings and contribute to brainstorming sessions

  • Support art team in:

  • Writing blog articles and digital content (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, Telegram…)

  • Social media projects and onboarding influencers

  • Conducting extensive research to ensure content is accurate

  • Engaging readers with informative, entertaining, and educational copy


Skill sets and Requirements:

  • Native or bilingual proficiency in both spoken and written English

  • Excellent copywriting, editing skills, and attention to detail

  • Be able to tailor content to different audiences

  • Flexibility and adaptability to work collaboratively with a team in multiple locations

  • Experience working in a fast-paced or tech-startup environments

  • Familiarity with the global art market and its communication dynamics

  • Strong data-driven analytical skills and proficiency with platforms such as Google Analytics

  • Established contacts with relevant art and culture press and publications

  • Past involvement with financial services products or industries is a plus

  • Experience with blockchain technologies and NFTs is a plus

The successful candidate will have a relevant higher-education degree and 5 years minimum experience in marketing and communications.

Time Requirement:

This is a full-time position based in/or around Switzerland. Ideal candidate will have flexibility to work remotely and travel for in-person meetings. The GMC officer reports to the CMO in California and works with the team in Europe. Long-term commitment is preferred.
