Tanya Bonakdar Gallery, Los Angeles is looking for a part-time Preparator.

The Preparator will support the gallery team by installing works for client viewings, maintaining inventory, preparing condition reports, and overseeing fabrication projects for gallery artists, as needed.

This position will work at the gallery for two to three full days every week. This position requires availability for an additional week of full-time work installing gallery exhibitions, which typically change every six to seven weeks. The Preparator will also work with the gallery installing at art fairs and to oversee other special projects, as needed. The successful candidate will be able to complete both complex and basic tasks with equal diligence and support general gallery maintenance.

This position reports to the Managing Director. Candidates must have previous gallery installation experience and live in Los Angeles. This position will be paid hourly; rates are competitive and commensurate with experience.
