Photo Archive Assistant

We are looking for a Photo Archive Assistant to provide support in the care, management, and digitization of analog photographic collections.

Qualifications:

Basic knowledge of photographic prints

Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail

Ability to follow instructions and work independently

Ability to remain focused while performing repetitive tasks

Ability to handle delicate artifacts with care

Responsibilities

This position is responsible for handling and arranging photographic prints, researching photographs within the collection, and preparing the material for digitization.

Requirements

Preferred Bachelor’s degree in photography or archival studies

Knowledge of Epson scanning software

Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom

Darkroom skills helpful
