Public Safety Officer
Under supervision, is responsible for providing safety and security to all members of the college community, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures by being observant, reporting problems, protecting the community and its property, and preventing incidents through proper planning and utilization of resources.
This is a non-sworn, unarmed position.
WORKING CONDITIONS: This position entails shift work that might be daytime, evening or weekend work. This position works outdoors.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Requires ability to standing and walk for extended periods of time.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
The hourly rate for Day and Swing shifts is $21.00; for the Graveyard shift it is $22.64. These rates are non-negotiable as this is the set budget for this position.

- CCA considers a full-time work week to be 37.5 hours per week.
Please note that in an effort to keep the CCA community safe, the College has made the decision to require all staff, faculty, and students on campus to be fully vaccinated.
