Who We Are
Jobs.art is a listings platform created by Art Handler—the first publication to make the inner workings of the art world its focus.
Art Handler is a company founded by artists who know firsthand the challenges of navigating a career in the art world. We want to make it as easy as possible for employers and job seekers within the field to connect.
Why We Exist
Nobody likes looking for a job, and hiring is often just as daunting for employers. Jobs.art makes it simple and easy for everyone.
For job seekers, we are free and without the noise of unpaid internships.
For employers, we expand networks and eliminate the need to rely on word of mouth. We ensure that your organization is finding new, diverse, and innovative talent which maintains your cutting edge and long term health of the whole industry.
The best person for the job could be someone you haven’t heard about.
How It Works
For employers who wish to post art-related jobs, we offer either a Basic or Premium plan. For Premium, choose from flexible monthly billing or opt for a cost-saving yearly plan. Either way, the Premium plan allows for unlimited listings and access to additional promotion on all of our social media pages.
In order to make our platform accessible to small employers and studios, we have waived the charge for one-time listings under our Basic plan. A subscription upgrade to Premium is available at any time.
Art Handler’s online following boasts more than 80k individuals and organizations, with a daily reach of 100k and over a million daily impressions from artists, handlers, museums, galleries, writers, curators, dealers, directors, and art enthusiasts.
Jobs.art, Art Handler’s sister site, has more than 15k followers and counting.
To maximize your reach, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for information about promoting your job listing across both Art Handler’s and Jobs.art’s social media platforms.
Jobs.art recognizes the acute impact that COVID-19 has had on our community with many opportunities for employment paused until further notice. In the meantime, we make it as easy as possible to access the information you need to connect you to your next job or hire.
All listings posted on Jobs.art must be paid work. Unpaid positions or internships will not be accepted.
Each employer on our site is vetted, and we reserve the right to remove institutions if we discover documented track records of bias, harassment, or any other inappropriate, substandard, toxic and/or unsafe working conditions, at our sole discretion.
