The Actors Fund, a nationwide human services organization that helps all professionals in performing arts and entertainment, seeks an Advancement Database Administrator who will oversee the Advancement Systems department and all Advancement Department data systems, including donor and ticketing databases and affiliated online portals. The Administrator will also administer and enforce policies and procedures for gift entry, donor acknowledgements, report generation and volunteer information.

Responsibilities

The Advancement Database Administrator will oversee the Advancement Systems department and all Advancement Department data systems. This includes evaluating and overseeing the integration and maintenance of the data systems as well as ensuring database integrity. The Administrator will create and enforce new policies and procedures for all data organization, acknowledgements, reconciliations, de-duplications, data entry, and segmentation of databases.

The Administrator will also be responsible for maintaining all aspects of donor financial record keeping and relationship data entry, including assignment of codes, organizing data fields, timely recording of gifts and volunteer activity, and development and implementation of procedures to detect accuracy of data entry. They will run routine queries, generate ad hoc lists, generate internal and external lists and exports, and fulfill data requests as needed as well as assist with any general ledger reconciliation.

This position will also be responsible for training Advancement staff on use of the data systems and may be required to provide backup data entry and acknowledgement processing.

Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree

Minimum of three to five years’ experience in development database management at a comparable mid-sized to large non-profit organization

Recent bCRE Certification

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience with Luminate Online, ImportOmatic, and AudienceView ticketing system

High competency in Crystal Reports or Crystal Reports Certification
