We are seeking an experienced communications advisor to lead the development and implementation of internal communications strategies that contribute to the engagement and motivation of the MAAS team.

This newly created role will have a particular focus on supporting the internal communications related to the MAAS Project to build the new museum in Parramatta.

Responsibilities
  • Reporting to the Head of Communications, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Work collaboratively across the organisation to provide advice, guidelines and tools to enhance the quality of internal communications.

  • Coordinate communications to internal audiences.

  • Coordinate all internal communications channels.

  • Develop internal communications materials, including presentations, speech notes, marketing copy and digital content.

Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in relevant communications, public relations or related discipline.

  • Experience implementing internal communications for a major construction, infrastructure or community consultation project, related organisation or government department.

  • Experience in a variety of communications disciplines including marketing, public relations and communications.

  • High-level time management skills.

  • High-level oral and written communication skills.

  • Ability to coordinate with internal teams and manage external contractors to deliver desired outcomes.
