Cultural Counsel is a mid-size consultancy focused on communications, strategic partnerships, and the development of public programming in the worlds of art, design and architecture. We are seeking a full-time Account Executive with 2 years of PR experience agency to join our result-oriented team of 15 publicists and professional writers. Strategies are developed through thoughtful independent research and interoffice collaboration. The role is client facing and may require attending events and travel.
Responsibilities
+Build and execute strategies for clients
- Writing press releases and pitches quickly
+Pitch and place stories, and assist senior staff in coordination
+Maintain a strong understanding of culture industry-related matters, including news, programming, and events nationally
+Manage lists, pitch trackers, and reports
+Proactively monitor media and trends
Requirements
+2+ years prior PR agency experience
+Excellent written and verbal communication skills
+Strong time management skills and ability to multitask
+Experience with client management
+Confident and well-informed story-teller
+Familiarity with Google Suite and PR Databases
