Art Director

Reporting to the Creative Director, the Art Director is a crucial part of the creative process and the overall success of the department. You will lead projects and must possess the ability to turn vision into reality via print, digital and video solutions. Success in this role is accompanied by passion for design, thoughtful approach and a constant challenge to think outside the box.

In depth conceptual and practical knowledge in creative services is required to lead projects and solve complex problems with minimal guidance. This role is responsible for acting as a resource to colleagues with less experience (H-D and contracted). You will be expected to develop applicable expertise on the Harley-Davidson brand, products and services as well as an understanding of the motorcycle industry and its consumers.

  • Collaborate with clients, account managers and other members of the creative team to brainstorm and develop ideas that will elevate and amplify the story for one of the most iconic brands in the world

  • Use your exceptional art direction skills to transform strategic and conceptual thinking into original, persuasive, and compelling work

  • Assume responsibility for creating and maintaining the consistency across all elements connected with the design and production of finished projects

  • Proactively communicate updates on a regular basis

  • Maintain a strict adherence to project goals, deadlines, and budgets

  • Embrace challenges in an energetic, positive manner

  • Apply creativity to every aspect of your job

  • Education Specifications: A bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts or a related field is preferred.

  • Experience Requirements: Five years of related experience in advertising, marketing or communications agency to be considered.
