Fractured Atlas is seeking a mid-career fundraising professional to fill a new full-time Grant Coordinator role on our Program team. This position will be responsible for helping improve fundraising outcomes for artists, and reports to the Associate Director of Program Operations. Fractured Atlas has nearly 75,000 artists in our membership nationwide who come to us daily for guidance and assistance.The Grant Coordinator will be the go-to support person for our program associates as they help our fiscally-sponsored artists find, solicit, and manage grant funds. Strong candidates will have a track record of successful grant solicitations and a talent for cultivating funder relationships.

Responsibilities
Identify opportunities both for growth and for increased efficiency in our grant processes;
Manage a comprehensive and evolving catalog of national, state, and local grant funding opportunities;
Facilitate the timely, accurate, and thorough review of LOIs and grant proposals submitted by our fiscally-sponsored projects to institutional funders, to ensure a high probability of success, especially those involving multiple applicants;
Serve as the main point of contact for funders who need to speak with Fractured Atlas about our fiscal sponsorship program;
Create and update educational materials for external and internal use, present publicly as needed;
Liaise with External Relations and Finance teams to develop optimal answers to common questions about Fractured Atlas for proposals;
Other duties assigned as needed to support the team and our members.
Requirements
3+ years experience in nonprofit grant research, solicitation, and reporting; working knowledge of other forms of fundraising a plus;
Understanding of the cultural ecosystem. It’s important to be able to relate to the needs and experiences of our members;
An ability to successfully interact with a wide range of personalities and communication styles;
Demonstrated ability to successfully move forward multiple, concurrent projects effectively, take direction, and delegate when necessary;
A sense of humor and strong desire to work as part of a fun, creative, and entrepreneurial team;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and creative problem solving skills;
Strong organizational and leadership skills; project management experience a plus;
Experience with Microsoft Office, G-Suite, web-based software, and arts administration is preferred;
Self-motivated and hyper-organized with the ability to work independently.
LOCATION
This position can be 100% virtual (with travel about 3-4 times per year). The Fractured Atlas team currently lives and works in 11 different states, and you can live and work almost anywhere in the United States with a reliable internet connection. Because most of our staff is based on the East Coast, you must be available to attend meetings during a 10AM-6PM ET window.

Benefits
Salary is $58,500.
