With an annual operating budget of approximately $50 million —the majority dedicated directly or indirectly to programming—BAM is a leading presenter of emerging and contemporary artists.

We have an opportunity for a Human Resources Coordinator! In this role you will master our HRIS, Paycom, and assist in recruitment coordination. BAM employs 250 full time employees, and up to 800 seasonal or part time employees. The HR Coordinator will help the HR department provide excellent customer service to all employees by managing and analyzing large amounts of data. The Coordinator will also assist in the logistics behind recruiting, such as interview scheduling. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is building their career in HR logistics or analytics, or someone interested in learning more about HR in general. This role requires comfort with both data analysis and providing hospitable support to BAM employees.

Responsibilities

HRIS Management

Develops, optimizes and maintains BAM’s HRIS (Paycom)

Creates and supports a variety of reports using the appropriate tools, automating where possible

Ensure data integrity of the HRIS and HR Files

Research and propose new uses of Paycom to the HR team

Act as first point of conact for the Paycom account representative

Organize and champion the HR team’s requests or concerns to Paycom

Coordinate the time management portion of the weekly payroll process

Respond to employee questions about their HRIS data (i.e. time off accruals)

Train employees on HRIS best practices

Assist employess with HRIS use including password reset requests

Process personnel changes

Troubleshoot bugs/errors in HRIS

Recruitment Coordination

Assist in advertising open positions

Work directly with candidates, hiring managers and teams to schedule interviews and provide information

Perform reference checks

Ad hoc recruitment projects

Requirements

Extensive and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other business intelligence reporting tools.

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience

At least two years of professional work experience in an office environment, preferably HR

Excellent computer skills in Outlook, Word and PowerPoint

Excellent written communication skills

Some proficiency with mathematical formulas and budgets

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with an HRIS, preferably Paycom

High level of confidentiality

Ability to multi-task and interact in a friendly and professional manner

Ability to demonstrate patience

Team player, customer service oriented

Resourceful and motivated

Highly organized and detail oriented

Proactive problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently

Salary: $45,588, eligible for paid overtime. Comprehensive benefits package including pension.
