Do you enjoy producing high quality printed paper products while tracking your progress and working closely with a team? Do you have experience with mechanical troubleshooting, working around machines, and in a fast-paced production environment? This may be the position for you!

In this full-time position, you’ll be working closely with other production operators each day to take the printed components and make them into Scout Books. Bring your mechanical and troubleshooting experience as you are fully trained in these stations: score-trim-fold; page folding, stitcher trimmer, and corner rounding. Celebrate milestones as you complete each step of the well-developed training process. You must have the ability to follow a planned workflow schedule, but also be flexible in this deadline-driven field. We’re all about continuous improvement and you should be comfortable talking about your mistakes and willing to try new things. It’s important to stay calm and rational during unforeseen troubleshooting, as well as being an open and kind communicator. Responsibilities

Bindery Production; Folding, Stitching, Paper Trimming; Corner Rounding; Consumables Management/Inventory; Tracking waste and time; Packing and Completing Orders; Opportunity for future work in Press and Fulfillment.

COMPENSATION/BENEFITS

$16-18 per hour, depending on experience; Benefits include Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays, Health and Dental Insurance (75% of costs covered by the company), and employer-sponsored SIMPLE­-IRA retirement plan. Requirements

Previous production environment and machine operation experience; Excellent Mechanical Skills; Commitment to Continuous Improvement, High Standard for Quality, and Attention to Detail; Positive Attitude, Team Spirit, and Excellent Communication Skills including Active Listening; Physical Capacity for; Repetitive Lifting and Strenuous Physical Activity; Requires Stamina, Strength, and Endurance to Stand for Long Periods of Time; Ability to Problem Solve and Apply Critical Thinking
