Join SCAD Hong Kong as an events and exhibitions coordinator and help execute the annual event planning strategy as you support the development of the university’s events calendar. Working closely with internal stakeholders, you will ensure that events are aligned with brand guidelines and are managed accordingly.
This role requires organizing logistics for on and off campus events under the leadership of the executive director of events. Effective communication on events / exhibitions’ requirement and settings with internal and external stakeholders are necessary to ensure successful execution of the events. The coordinator works closely with various departments and peers in Savannah to develop innovative ideas for events and exhibitions, ensuring they support SCAD Hong Kong’s business objectives. Events include a variety of high-profile presidential signature events, student activities, visiting artist lectures, and admission open days.
The ideal candidate has a passion for the arts and education, a positive attitude, project management capabilities, an established vendor network and excellent customer service skills. You should be a highly organized team player who works well under pressure, has keen attention to detail and possesses strong creative conceptual skills. An ability to bring creative ideas to life in an arts and education environment is essential.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, management, or a related field
Two to five or more years of experience executing events and exhibitions
Fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
Previous experience in a regional or remote office role with good vendor network
