Blum & Poe, Los Angeles seeks a Gallery Administrator to begin immediately.
Managing front of house and reception duties.
Greeting and interacting with the public.
Fielding and directing all incoming phone calls.
Providing general administrative support to gallery staff.
Distributing mail and managing outgoing packages.
Maintaining calendars, contact database, supplies, and correspondence.
Assisting with gallery events, including openings and private dinners.
Liaising with vendors to coordinate events and other gallery business.
Coordinating travel and accommodations.
Providing day-to-day executive assistance to owners and directors.
Arranging meals for owners, guests, and artists.
The position is full-time, with some evening and weekend commitments.
Salary is commensurate with experience.

Bachelor’s degree in art history or related field.
Extremely organized, detail oriented, and able to multitask. Able to attend to basic and complex tasks with equal diligence and attention.

Accessibility and availability across multiple time zones.
Prior experience working in a contemporary art gallery, organization, or artist’s studio is required. Prior experience coordinating and planning events is preferred.
Knowledge of FileMaker Pro / Artbase, InDesign, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.
