THE POSITION:

This is a fast-paced, fun, and highly creative Designer position working on HouseBeautiful.com. This position will work closely with editorial staff, creatives, and photo editors to create innovative, quality design concepts to maximize user engagement with brand content on both on site and on social. You’ll be reliable, quick, engaged, and very flexible with highly conceptual visual innovation. Your design and illustration skills will add a new layer of depth to the stories being told on your brand.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Work closely with the editorial team, photo editors and motion designers to deliver quality design and illustrations on time

• Strong design aesthetic and use of color

• Exceptional type skills

• Able to handle multiple tasks at a time and comfortable with short deadlines

• Make sure files adhere to file specs and best practices of Hearst’s content management system

• Be highly engaged with the brand’s identity and content
