NINE dot ARTS uses the power of original art to transform spaces into experiences. We bridge the gap between arts and business. With knowledge and experience we curate inspiring art collections that show beauty, creativity, and purpose.

SUMMARY

The Acquisitions Coordinator role takes our art curation work and brings it to the finish line. You will be in charge of acquiring all artwork from a variety of sources, negotiating pricing, ensuring preparation, and overseeing installations on a client site. That means stellar coordination skills to get all the right pieces of information from our Curators, purchase from artists and galleries and vendors, get artwork printed and framed and prepared for shipping and hanging, work with constantly shifting deadlines to schedule professional art installers, make game-time decisions when there’s a surprise in the wall finishes, and ensure everyone’s work culminates in the installation of a world-class art program. This is a role that is high in both urgency and satisfaction.

The person in this role will be managed by the Head of Client Operations, Adele Grundies, and will work closely with our Acquisitions Manager, Lauren Donald. The Acquisitions Coordinator can work from our Denver office, or work remotely for candidates based in any of the following areas: Seattle, Southeast (Atlanta, Charlotte, Nashville), Chicago, and California. Some travel is required for out-of-state installations.

  • Each piece of art may need to pass through multiple vendors’ hands, including the artist or gallery to the framers, printers, photographer, and storage facility, to the art installer on site

  • Every purchase must be documented in our central systems, from issuing the Purchase Order to receipting a deposit, and tracked in our inventory system

  • Styling – a spatial understanding to translate 2D plans into a 3D environment, with the creative confidence to both carry out the curatorial vision and make decisions on the fly
