There is an opportunity at Hall Black Douglas for an architect to join its team in Belfast, Ireland.
Hall Black Douglas is seeking an experienced project architect to join our team in Belfast, due to an expanding portfolio and client list.
The successful candidate will have architectural detailing and contract administration experience to complement their design skills.
Responsibilities
Our diverse project range includes: civic; conservation, healthcare, commercial, private residential, social housing, community, hospitality and masterplanning.
As a practice, we are more than the sum of our parts. Our architectural team of 20-plus people works collaboratively, based in our studio in a former Victorian engineering works in Belfast, with each member bringing a unique focus to our clients projects. It is our staff’s wealth and breadth of experience that allows us to deliver both innovative and rigorously detailed projects across a wide range of sectors.
All staff hold membership of their professional body and engage in ongoing training and continued professional development. This is supported by our administration team and ISO accredited quality systems.

Requirements
Excellent skills in:
BIM
architectural design and presentation
client, consultant and contractor interface and coordination
job-running/project management /administration
detailed construction drawing packages
Desirable criteria:
proven delivery of projects to BIM Level 2; Revit or ArchiCAD
proven competency in the delivery of high-quality architectural projects
NBS specification
award/competition-winning projects
