We are looking for an operational leader who is passionate about art, community building and creating streamline, one of a kind experiences for our clients and artists. This role will be focused on managing/elevating Hous Studios and its established international reputation as a leading Tattoo and Art Studio in Los Angeles.
We are looking for a highly organized leader, with a passion for business, art, and facilitating growth and creating space to be creative for those around them.
This position is primarily responsible for enhancing the Owner’s effectiveness by providing information, assisting in daily office needs and managing our studio’s general administrative activities. This position reports directly to the owner and provides executive support in a one-on-one working relationship while maintaining a positive, can-do attitude.
A successful candidate will be self-motivated, proactive, quick-thinking, flexible, able to juggle multiple and diverse responsibilities. They will need to have a strong emphasis on organization and unwavering attention to detail at all times. This is a demanding and fast-moving position that requires someone who is able to exercise good judgment and significant initiative.
Oversee the day-to-day operations at the Studio; greeting clients, communication with bookings, planning, organizing, and delegating of work.
Handling fast turn-overs, maintaining the Studio’s image and being a representation of the Brand
Ensure the Owner is prepared for all meetings and appointments with appropriate materials and information
Ability to handle sensitive matters and exercise sound judgement, discretion, and confidentiality
Managing the studio calendar
Keeping track of inventory/supplies
Maintain cleanliness of the studio
Contribute to growth and management of artists in studio
Records Management: lists of client information, collecting tattoo artists payments, archive artwork, spreadsheets, creating new organizational systems as necessary.
Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through, multitasking is key!
Positive outlook, conscientious teammate and team builder.
Experience with project management, managing daily activities and delivering results in a cross-functional environment
Professional, courteous, and strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Google suite, Microsoft Suite and Adobe Creative suite
Must be based in Los Angeles & have reliable transportation. Our studio is located in the Downtown Los Angeles Arts District.
Ability to work under pressure & demonstrate sound judgment in ambiguous situations
Knows how to maintain confidentiality
