The Patron Programs Manager will coordinate daily operations of the Patron Program (donors giving $2,000-$9,999) with specific focus on the renewal and acquisition cycles, implementation of events, and donor communications.

  • Working closely with the Senior Manager and Director of Patron Programs and Major Gifts, manage the identification, cultivation, solicitation, renewal and stewardship of Patrons for this seven figure program. Assist with event strategy and implementation.

  • Liaison with Marketing/Digital Media with regard to Patron Program and BAM Young Producers communications.

  • Manage Patron Program acquisition and renewal process, including assisting with renewal letter writing, managing all solicitation mailings and emails

  • Manage weekly meeting with Patron Services and Patron Program to review all outstanding gifts and strategize about next steps, coordinating with major gifts officers, and developing strategies for our telefundraising room to maximize our channels for Patron acquisitions, upgrades, and renewals.

  • Work with the Senior Manager to cultivate and acquire new Young Producers and Patron Program members through in person meetings and events.

  • Provide support for event planning and benefit fulfilment throughout all patron programs

  • Oversee the Dev Ops Assistant and the Major Gifts and Patron Program Assistant in the timely processing and receipting of gifts and acknowledgement letters. This includes working with the Finance department to ensure proper coding of all gifts and updating of all acknowledgment letters and templates when campaigns change.

  • Assist in identifying mid-level donors and major gift prospects by developing leads to drive upgrades, working closely with Sr Manager of Patron Program, and the Patron Program and Major Gifts team. In conjunction with Sr Manager, work with Development Operations and Digital Media helping to develop and implement a strategic plan for Patron level digital communications as well as managing the logistics of Patron email generation; work to develop and implement web and social media presence for BAM Patrons and Young Producers.

  • Write miscellaneous correspondence as requested

  • Handle telephone and email follow up as directed

  • Staff Patron Lounge and Patron Table as needed

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience

  • Computer literacy/technologically savvy a must (PC, Microsoft Office Suite)

  • Database knowledge (Tessitura or other fundraising database a plus)

  • Excellent writing and communication skills

  • Interest in the performing arts

  • 3+ years of previous work experience, preferably in the performing arts or other non-profit organization
