Since 2011, the Villa Datris Foundation, located in Isle-sur-la-Sorgue in Vaucluse, has offered an annual thematic exhibition combining internationally renowned contemporary artists and emerging talents.
Each exhibition aims to introduce a wide audience to contemporary sculpture in the villa and its Mediterranean garden. Lectures, guided tours and workshops for children are offered free of charge, everything throughout the season.
Responsibilities
The Welcome Desk Officer ensures the supervision and security of the exhibition, welcomes the public, creates a exchange with visitors, participates in the implementation of specific events, prepares and maintains the welcome areas of the exhibition spaces.
Full-time fixed-term contract – 35h/week
From May 27 to November 3, 2019
Remuneration: Gross SMIC, i. e. 1521 Euros/month
Work on weekends, two days off per week.
Requirements
Similar experience desired,
Interest in contemporary art,
Practice of English desired,
Rigour, autonomy and availability,
Sense of organization and teamwork,
Inspection before and after taking up duty and reporting any anomalies.
