Prospects should have at least 2 years experience in range of woodworking tools and methods. Relevant past experience could include interior architectural work, furniture, sculpture, and unique constructions. An exceptional candidate would have a diverse fabrication background and knowledge of woodwork, plastics, motors, mechanisms, and/or 3D printing.
Responsibilities
Keeping a very organized, efficient and safe workspace.
Track & update project information and schedule in project management software.
Review information with the fabrication team via project management software, whiteboard, and wall posters.
Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines.
Inspect tools and equipment for repairs and/or replacement.
Requirements
Ability to lift and handle 60 lbs.
Skill in operating CNC machinery and tooling as well as precision measurement tools.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings.
Computer savvy with basic understanding of computer programming and CAD/CAM.
Mechanical aptitude and good math skills.
