This is a consulting position for an experienced and creative cultural producer to develop
innovative programs and events at sites and venues adjacent to the LA River.Â
The Program Director should have experience with developing projects in the public realm.
They should be familiar with cultural leaders and art makers in Los Angeles and have
established relationships with these individuals.
Fee, above, is for Phase I work (8-10 weeks). Once scope is established, develop 2 year program. Phase II - implement program. Fee to be determined.
Responsibilities
Lead the development of flagship program.
Build relationships with arts organizations to create dynamic program.
Hire support team.
Requirements
Successful record of innovative and impactful programming.
Experience in the development of art and cultural events in the public sector.
