Puppy Love

Puppy Love is seeking a talented creative director / designer to aid us in the launch of our new agency. Formed from the merging of several agencies, we bring with us 10 years of experience in photo and video-based experiential marketing (The Bosco), film (Curfew), interior design (Bobby Redd), and the interactive and digital spaces (Midnight Commercial).

We are looking for a full-time creative/design director and designer to generate boundary-pushing concepts and execute eye-catching designs that will wow our clients. Our projects are strictly digital at the moment, but have the potential to grow further.

We are remote-only. Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:

  • Client-facing discovery and exploration

  • Concept development around specific client needs / goals

  • Bigger picture, evaluating trends and keeping us up-to-date and a few steps ahead of current marketing and experiential techniques

  • Shape and enforce agency and brand standards across all projects and internal marketing

  • Creating designs, mockups, and animated prototypes for pitches

  • Assist in creating proposal and copy for pitch

  • Consulting on project scope, feasibility, timelines, and costs

  • Providing design support and creative direction for sold projects, as needed

  • Work closely with multidisciplinary project teams, particularly engineering and design

  • Work with Project Director to form project teams, help identify, interview and place talent on client projects

  • Assist clients in resolving issues or answering questions

Requirements

Candidates must be qualified to work in the US. We are currently remote-only, but our core team is split between NY and LA.

The ideal candidate possesses the following qualities:

  • 3-6 years of related experience, preferably in a creative agency setting

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite

  • Knowledge of current trends in web development

  • Experience in the fields of creative technology, (experiential) marketing, and/or branding

  • Creative, out-of-the-box thinking

  • Excellent, professional communication – verbal, written, and visual

  • Experience with 3D design preferred

  • Experience with coding is a plus
