The MassArt Art Museum (MAAM) is the teaching museum for Massachusetts College of Art and Design, a freestanding public college located in Boston. MAAM is a non-collecting museum, showing exhibitions that feature the work of artists at all stages of their careers. MAAM is a resource for MassArt students, faculty, and the public — educating our community members about contemporary art; partnering with faculty to support MassArt curriculum; and preparing students for careers in the museum field. As an extension of the College’s public mission, MAAM is also a resource for the community, offering a pathway to education in the arts and free educational programming to Boston-area public schools and neighborhood groups.
The Curator of Education supports the mission of the MassArt Art Museum (MAAM) by directing the development, planning, coordination, implementation, and assessment of the museum’s education programs for MassArt faculty and students, youth, and the greater Boston community. An accomplished educator in their own right, the Curator of Education also teaches MAAM’s Museum Education programs.
