Theatre Aspen is a professional theatre in Colorado that currently presents 3 mainstage productions each season, featuring a professional apprentice program, and a robust year-round education program for students ages 5-18, and we are rapidly expanding our programming imprint. We are accepting materials for development staff to work on a range of initiatives to support our efforts to raise $2M+ annually and begin preparations for a capital campaign.
Theatre Aspen seeks motivated and dedicated individuals to:
Develop and execute strategic fundraising plans
Identify new donors, partnerships and sponsorships
Cultivate and steward existing donors
Support a variety of fundraising initiatives and special events
Plan and implement innovative programs that support the mission of Theatre Aspen and allow the organization to achieve its goals in artistic excellence, community engagement, and financial stability
As we build a development team, we seek candidates with a variety of experience and skill levels, with a minimum of two years development, arts administration or comparable experience. Candidates will exhibit a high capacity for interpersonal relations, excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail and ability to handle high-pressure situations with diplomacy and tact.
