The Digital Archivist in New York will be responsible for a large scale project of digitizing physical files and catalogues.
Responsibilities
This will include light research and physical filing.
The project will last between 3 and 6 months.
The Digital Archivist should be tech-proficient, detail-oriented, communicate and act independently, while working collaboratively with the Co-Founder’s Office.
Requirements
Education: BA in Arts or Design, preferred. Willing to consider college student with flexible schedule.
Computer skills: Proficiency with Mac OS X, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and willingness to learn new programs and databases.
Experience: Previous experience at a gallery or a museum is a plus.
