SUMMARY:

Responsible for promoting the artistic and education programs of Scottsdale Arts’ divisions through website engagement, email marketing and social media strategies.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (Under direction of supervisor)

Works alongside the Marketing Ops team to develop integrated digital campaigns to align with tradition print and media relations to created cohesive campaigns around all programming at Scottsdale Arts.

Works within Scottsdale Arts marketing automation stack, (Sharp Spring), to build unified digital engagement campaigns across email, social media, and web advertising.

Designs, develops and manages email blasts, drip and nurture campaigns, and retargeted emails.

Develops and maintains email planning calendar to align email campaigns with other advertising initiatives.

Maintains the email database by monitoring hard bounces, errors, and opportunities for database improvement.

Collaborates on the development of social media strategies with the Marketing Ops team and manages the implementation of plans for social media channels.

Monitors and reports on the effectiveness and reach of organic versus paid social media outreach.

Contributes to the production and distribution of all marketing videos. This includes videos for advertising, in-house digital display marketing, and email distribution.

As needed on location event capturing for utilization on social media and other video distribution channels. Will utilize Marketing Department camera and video equipment to produce high quality content that documents Scottsdale Arts various services in the community.

Prepares and sends surveys as assigned or requested, including analytics of results.

Produces monthly reports on surveys, website analytics, digital campaign performance and impact using the marketing automation stack reporting tools.

Utilize Asana project management software to assign and track tasks for the digital marketing team including but not limited to: marketing automation stack maintenance, website maintenance, email creation and approval, social media management, digital ads, and other digital marketing needs.

Performs a variety of supervisory functions including oversight of staff, recruitment, employee relations, training, performance review, counseling, scheduling, work assignments, problem resolution etc. Supervision is performed in accordance with organizational policies and procedures and supports a positive organizational culture.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education: Bachelor’s degree in related field with an emphasis in digital marketing preferred.

Experience: 5 years of experience in digital marketing, web design or a combination equivalent in online marketing.

Attributes:

Proficient in Microsoft office, Word Press, Google Analytics, HTML, CSS, SEO and SEM experience desired.

Demonstrated experience and knowledge of project management and online marketing automation for patron engagement and cultivation online.

Ability to develop and analyze promotions and sales reports.

Ability to write reports based on business intelligence data produced by the marketing automation stack.

Ability to effectively analyze data and present information and respond to questions from groups and individuals, external and internal audiences.

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.

Must be able to work and thrive in a team environment, and have experience working within a project management system, (Asana.com or similar.)

Work Environment: Regularly required to sit at desk and work on compute for long periods of time. Must be able to use hands to finger, handle, feel, see, and reach with arms and hands to operate computer equipment. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close and color vision. Occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions. Some evening and weekend work required as needed.

Other requirements:

Must possess valid driver’s license and driving record which is acceptable to the organization’s insurance carrier.
