Our photography department is growing again! Are you a talented Digital Photography Retoucher proficient in color correction, image enhancement, and retouching?
Set your sights on our photography department at Heritage Auctions, headquartered in Dallas, Texas, with offices in New York, Chicago, Beverly Hills, London, Hong Kong, and other cities. Heritage Auctions is the largest auction house founded in the U.S. and serves more than 40 different auction categories, including Coins, Sports, Comics, Historical, Jewelry, Entertainment, Fine & Decorative Art, Wine, and many more.
Responsible for performing photo retouching and color correction on product/still life images in a high volume catalog environment. Candidates must submit a portfolio or examples of their work to be in consideration.
Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Color correcting images for product matching
Knocking out backgrounds
Utilize masking, selections, adjustment layers, custom curves, and layer masks
Other duties may be assigned
Requirements
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Associates degree or equivalent work history preferred
1+ year of photo retouching, color correction, and image manipulation
Experience in eCommerce Photo Production a plus
SKILLS & ABILITIES:
​-Adobe Photoshop CC and Capture One a plus
Experience with color correction and knocking out backgrounds
Ability to work well in a high-volume environment
Organized, methodical, and detail oriented
Ability to partner well with cross-functional team members
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Interest in the History of Cinema a plus!
