The International Studio & Curatorial Program is seeking a Development Manager in East Williamsburg, NY. ISCP is a not-for-profit, residency-based contemporary art center for emerging to mid-career artists and curators from around the world. The Development Manager is responsible for a range of essential organizational activities and reports to the Executive Director. The Development Manager supervises the Development Associate.
Position salary is $75,000

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Strategize with Executive Director and board Fundraising Committee and draft annual fundraising plan, lead fundraising initiatives, including grant applications, fundraising events, individual giving
Liaise with Executive Director on new sponsor outreach planning and execution
Prepare funding applications for individuals, government, foundation, and corporate support; manage interim and year end reporting to funders
Manage and direct fundraising events, including the planning and coordination of benefits, auctions, cultivation events, sale of editions
Work on the multi-year capital campaign, in collaboration with two other staff members and a board committee
Work with the board Fundraising Committee, including organization of regular committee meetings and reporting on development at Board meetings
Conduct prospect research
Liaise with funders regarding special projects as needed
Liaise with Director of Finance and Operations on budget for fundraising
Liaise with communications staff to supply text for newsflashes pertaining to fundraising initiatives
Build the overall fundraising capacity of the institution
Advocate for diversity, equity, inclusion and accessibility at ISCP
Education and experience:
A minimum of five years experience in contemporary arts fundraising, preferably in a nonprofit environment
Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced environment
Attention to detail, ability to prioritize, problem solve, and multitask
Supervisory experience
Familiarity with grant writing
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent number years’ experience
Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office and G Suite; Salesforce/database experience a plus
