Are you a visual artist who believes in the power of art to transform the lives of young people and communities? Do you have experience facilitating visual art projects with teens? If so, we want you to join the Urban ArtWorks team! We are expanding our roster of Teaching Artists for the upcoming Summer and Fall sessions.
Responsibilities
Teaching Artists are the core of our program, inspiring teens to trust and share their own perspectives through visual art. We are looking for Teaching Artists who use engaging teaching methods to work with teens to research, design, and install murals and other public artworks throughout Seattle.
The Teaching Artist pay scale is based on experience and expertise. Our Teaching Artist hourly rate begins at $30/hour. All supplies are provided by Urban ArtWorks.
