Red Bull Arts is seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist to manage social channels, execute email strategy, maintain the website, and assist in content creation. The Digital Marketing Specialist is an integral role that requires strong writing skills, interest or knowledge of contemporary art/culture, and a natural desire to push digital boundaries.

Working alongside Red Bull’s Communications and Curatorial departments, the candidate will ensure Red Bull Arts maintains a cohesive and effective digital presence across web, social, and email through managing voice, visual aesthetic, and growth. The candidate will play a key role in refining how our digital strategy conveys the mission, artists, and programming of Red Bull Arts to a national audience.



  • Create, manage, and execute social posts across the entire Red Bull Arts social portfolio: Facebook, Instagram, Vimeo, SoundCloud, Newsletter

  • Community manage all social channels by responding to messages, comments, and general info emails in addition to engaging with relevant art organizations and media outlets

  • Ideate and execute real time content opportunities by attending events and posting live

  • Collate and review social and email analytics monthly for review and iteration against department driven KPIs

  • Hire and manage photographers and videographers for key exhibitions and public programs

  • Input and manage website content and webstore

  • Manage the execution of paid promotional tactics

  • Assist in the evolution of the Red Bull Arts social voice

  • Collaborate with Curatorial and Activation on short-term and long-term social strategy

  • Maintain and update digital archive of images and associated content for exhibitions, programming, special events, publications and other gift shop initiatives

  • Update respective press sections and maintain digital archive of press for exhibition dossier

  • Oversee and update mailing lists while supporting Programming team & PR team in compiling guest lists for events


Skills + Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience

  • Strong visual eye and knowledge in contemporary art

  • Strong project management, writing, and proofreading skills

  • Excellent attention to detail and proven copywriting skills

  • Knowledge of photo and video editing software: indesign, Photoshop, Premiere

  • Experience managing social media channels (Brand, Personal, etc)

  • Experience producing real time, creative social content

  • Experience managing CMS social media applications

  • Experience working on wordpress sites

  • Solutions oriented and resourceful

  • An ability to interpret analytical data and suggest optimization tactics

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and be flexible in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment

  • Reliable self-starter with an ability to take initiative and work both independently and as part of a team

  • Ability and willingness to work evenings and weekend

  • Preferred, but not required: An ability to take high res images and create short-form content using a DSLR/professional camera and editing software
