Under the authority of the Head of New Media Service, you are in charge of the acquisition, preservation and documentation of the works, enrichment and dissemination of the “new media” collection.
Responsibilities
Under the authority of the Head of New Media Service, you are in charge of the acquisition, preservation and documentation of the works, enrichment and dissemination of the “new media” collection.
As part of your mission, you are responsible in particular for designing and implementing the policy of conservation, increase and enrichment of funds (accompany restorations, propose acquisitions, research and develop donations, etc.). As such, you need to analyze the funds and carry out scientific work on the associated themes, to carry out missions of studies, evaluations and prospective in the cultural and / or scientific field. You must carry out or coordinate analysis and research work leading to publications and dissemination (articles, monographs, conferences, etc.).
You design exhibition or event projects and provide curatorship and / or management.
You participate in national and international cultural and scientific bodies and develop professional networks and partnerships.
National and international travel
Schedules related to the needs of the function (external travel, work in weekends and evenings, missions, etc …)

Requirements
Higher education (high school or university). You are aware of the Center’s cultural offer as well as comparable French and foreign cultural institutions.
You master the techniques of enrichment, treatment, conservation, provision and valuation of heritage funds.
Your know-how allows you to lead a cultural project (exhibition, event, etc.), to design and write a scientific and / or technical document and to provide a monitoring function on concepts, creations, practices and evolutions. You have the ability to verbalize results and communicate in a foreign language.
Your well-being allows you to adapt your behavior and your mode of communication to the different types of interlocutors or work situations encountered.
You are able to work in a team, with rigor and method, within the deadlines imposed by showing a great relational ease.
For this position, fluency in the English language is required.
You have at least 10 years experience in similar positions and in-depth knowledge of art history as well as cultural and / or scientific fields and associated fields in the new media sector.
