Established and fast growing Blue Chip Art Gallery with a flagship location in Magic City, Miami and a focus on Online Sales is seeking an experienced, motivated and hard working Art Lover to join our team!
This is a SENIOR LEVEL Position, we are looking for an Established Art Dealer with an existing network of clients and Primary Artists, who will work hand in hand with our CEO on both Primary and Secondary Sales. Will consider applicants who are currently Sales Associates at a major blue chip gallery or auction house, and ready to take on an expanded Director role.
Must be extremely Computer Savvy, and efficient with Social Media and able to use Back End CMS applications. The Director will be responsible for overseeing our team of third party and freelance partners, as well as build out exhibition programming.
Responsibilities
Oversee our inventory and supervise our team of freelance and third party collaborators.
Contribute to sales efforts, developing and maintaining a network of Collectors.
Pitch Primary Shows and build up ArtLife’s roster of Artists and Estates.
Be a self-starter, with the ability to handle tasks on your own and solving problems independently while always maintaining the integrity and standards of ArtLife Gallery.
Requirements
Proficient and skilled in a Mac-based environment, Google Suite, and Microsoft Office are required. Strong understanding of Adobe Creative Suite and knowledge of backend CMS databases like ArtLogic as well as sales platforms like Artsy are highly preferred (but not required, as long as you are a fast learner and good with computers)
Must have at least 3 years experience working for an Art Gallery, Art Dealer or Art Auction House. This is a SENIOR Level Position, looking for an established art dealer / sales associate to join our team.
Advanced understanding of Contemporary Art Market, including knowledge of the Artists we focus on such as Warhol, Basquiat and Keith Haring. Candidates with previous experience working for a blue chip contemporary artist’s Studio will also be considered.
5 . Must have valid driver’s license.
