Leslie Hindman Auctioneers (LHA), one of the nation’s leading and fastest growing fine art auction houses, is looking for a talented contract Marketing Copywriter to oversee the creation of creative, high-quality, engaging content. The ideal candidate has a passion and talent for writing both long form and digital content. The Marketing Copywriter will write strategically engaging copy for use in a variety of marketing platforms, both digital and non-digital. Serving as a contract member of the Creative Team, the Copywriter will support achievement of LHA growth plans and drive overall company goals, vision and mission as part of the Marketing team.
Create compelling copy in digital and long form
Develop content for website, social media, and marketing campaigns
Proofread copy for spelling and grammar errors
Develop compelling original copy that aligns to current brand campaign
Provide content and copy with ability to write detailed copy based upon selected concepts
Work with internal/external partners and agencies to develop concepts for projects
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English
3-5 years of experience as a copywriter
Excellent creative writing skills and an understanding of basic marketing practices
Excellent verbal, written and proofreading skills
Extremely detail oriented and resourceful, ability to work independently
Exceptional project management and time management skills, which includes the ability to prioritize project deadlines
Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
Ability to adapt writing style to marketing platform and target audience (digital, social, collateral, print ads, etc.
