Felix Art Fair is seeking temporary staff to support this year’s fair at The Hollywood Roosevelt hotel.

Felix Art Fair is seeking Los Angeles-based temporary staff to fulfill the following roles at this year’s fair. Eligible applicants must be available to work between February 13-19, 2023. Candidates should be personable, reliable, and enthusiastic.

The compensation rate is $18/hour.

Responsibilities

Each staff member assumes one or two of the following roles:

Exhibitor Registration / Office Attendant

These staff members are responsible for assisting exhibitors with the check-in process and ensuring all necessary paperwork and payments have been submitted. Applicants should be resourceful, enthusiastic, and have excellent organizational skills.

Floor Manager

Floor Managers assist with install and de-install logistics and function as the point person for an assigned group of exhibitors. These candidates must perform well under pressure and have very good communication skills. Applicants should be solution-oriented and have a desire to work directly with art-world professionals. Experience working with contractors in a very fast-paced environment is highly desirable. Existing knowledge of art fairs is a plus.

Art Storage

This staff member oversees the exhibitors storing their inventory in art storage.

Ticketing / Information Desk

These staff members assist fair attendees with purchasing tickets and checking them into the fair. Applicants should be personable and friendly, have good people management skills, and experience working with the public in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Applicants will be interviewed virtually and positions will be filled on a rolling basis. All applicants must be legally allowed to work in the US.
