Full Time Finance Manager

  • Oversee cash management (daily bank reports reconciliation)

  • Enter accounts payables & receivable entries

  • Process journal entries

  • Process weekly check runs, ACH payments and wire transfers

  • Maintenance of the general ledger on a monthly basis

  • Prepare bimonthly payroll and record payroll journals

  • Upload 403b contributions, match and loans bimonthly

  • Prepare weekly Brink’s deposits and coordinate cash deliveries

  • Record/post monthly sales by department

  • Prepare and process monthly sales tax

  • Prepare monthly AMEX expense reports and process in finance system

  • Reconcile and post investment and bank account statements monthly

  • Prepare financial schedules for outside accountant for annual audit/tax return preparation

  • Human resources: benefits enrollment, administration of employee hires and terminations

  • 1099 preparation


Necessary skills and experience

  • At least 2 years of prior accounting experience, preferably at a museum or a non-profit organization

  • Excellent computer skills, including superior knowledge of Excel and financial software (Fund EZ preferable)

  • Professional manner

  • Team player

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Undergraduate degree
