A Los Angeles based contemporary artist is seeking a fine art oil painter to assist in art execution and various art studio needs.

Responsibilities

  • Priming and prepping canvases

  • Mixing paint

  • Organizing materials

  • Photographing work

  • General studio upkeep including ordering supplies and running errands

  • Must be available to travel internationally from one week to a month at a time

Requirements

  • Highly proficient in contemporary art-making techniques, primarily figurative & realist oil painting and drawing

  • Excellent color mixing skills

  • Reliable, organized, professional and detail-oriented

  • Proficient with Photoshop and photography skills a plus

  • The position is in West Los Angeles, personal vehicle required

  • Must be able to legally work as an employee in U.S. and at the location

  • This is a fully on-site position, no remote work.

  • Schedule is Monday to Friday, 10am to 6:30pm

  • Upbeat and confident
