FULL CHARGE BOOKKEPER /STAFF ACCOUNTANT – full time

The Ideal Candidate will have experience managing accounting teams and working directly with the CEO and CFO, strong quantitative skills, advanced accounting and bookkeeping experience with Quickbooks Premiere and Enterprise and excellent leadership skills. Enjoys doing work that directly impacts the financial strength of the companies you work with. Strong interest in the operations of companies and an understanding of the impact Finance can have in improving operations. Willingness to jump in and work closely with clients during change management transitions.
Responsibilities
Client Work
You will be assigned a portfolio of the firm’s clients and will be responsible for:
Managing all onboarding of new clients and working closely with them to ensure their needs are met.
Managing the scheduling of monthly client work making sure all deadlines are met.
Chart of accounts review & restructuring
Inventory processes: item configuration, purchasing, receiving, sales orders, invoicing
A/P, A/R , General Ledger, etc.
Leading monthly close schedules
Overseeing the creation of Budgets, Forecasts, Cash flows, and Consolidations and other reporting decks
Urgent issues that require same-day response
Coordination of client monthly quarterly and annual tax filings.
Requirements
Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications
Outstanding organizational skills: ability to prioritize, to see and understand the big picture while also paying attention to the details.
Project management or account management experience.
At least 3 years of financial management and accounting experience in small to midsize businesses. (500K-49Million)
Familiarity with all aspects of finance and accounting across a range of different business types.
Experience working within creative industry companies
An entrepreneurial spirit
Inventory, Fulfillment and ERP integration experience will be highly valued
Experience with the financial systems of E-commerce will be highly valued
Ability to adapt to changing situations
Strong Knowledge of GAAP
Advanced skills in Excel and QuickBooks Pro, Quickbooks Enterprise
Strong analytical skills
Comfort with new technology
Resourcefulness and ability to work independently
Experience / working knowledge of the following software will be highly valued:, Expensify, Bill.com, ADP Run and ADP time tracking modules, Harvest APP, Fresh Books, Teamwork, Shopify.
