The Gallery Assistant is responsible for a wide variety of administrative and organizational duties that support the team at ArtLife. These duties may range from receptionist responsibilities, to travel and event management social media, and website responsibilities. The Gallery Assistant must have a general knowledge of contemporary art, the ArtLife program, Apple or Windows office suite, and general photography . This role handles a diversity of tasks and projects that are frequently time sensitive. This requires a Gallery Assistant who can manage multiple priorities with flexibility and the requisite attention to detail.
The position will include remote and onsite work.
Key Duties and Responsibility
Assist Gallery team in day to day
Manage and update gallery team calendar
Attend and assist with gallery openings
Assist with organizing, planning, and coordinating Social media sites for Gallery
Catalogue sales and inventory management
Gallery errands as needed
Photo Editing
Requirements
College Degree
General Knowledge of contemporary art and the gallery artists
Excellent written and oral communication skills
