L.A. Louver seeks an experienced gallery attendant to assist with visitor engagement during the upcoming exhibition Edward & Nancy Kienholz: The Merry-Go-World or Begat by Chance and The Wonder Horse Trigger. The exhibition will run from 24 October 2019 – 18 January 2020.
Responsibilities
We are very pleased to bring this immersive installation back to Los Angeles nearly 30 years after its debut, and are looking for someone who can help guide visitors through the interactive experience of the work.
Requirements
The ideal candidate would be comfortable engaging with visitors in the gallery as they interact with the installation and providing guidance and basic information about the artists and their work. They must also be comfortable enforcing the rules of interaction, including ensuring that only one person at a time enters the work. Some knowledge of and/or interest in contemporary art is preferred.
How to Apply
