Ruben Studio is seeking a highly connected and proactive Gallery & Collector Relations Director to support exhibition placement, strategic partnerships, and long-term career positioning.
This role is ideal for someone deeply embedded in the contemporary art ecosystem who understands how to build meaningful relationships with galleries, curators, and collectors — and can actively open doors for group exhibitions and future solo opportunities.
Identify and pitch work to galleries for group exhibitions and open calls
Develop and maintain relationships with gallery directors, curators, and art advisors
Strategically position the artist for long-term institutional and commercial growth
Connect with collectors and facilitate studio visits
Research exhibition opportunities aligned with the artist’s practice
Assist in building a pathway toward solo gallery representation
Support art fair placements and curated group exhibitions
Existing relationships with galleries, curators, or art advisors
Strong understanding of the contemporary art market
Experience in gallery operations, art advising, or artist representation
Exceptional communication and pitching skills
Self-driven and results-oriented
Before applying, please review the artist’s work at www.ruben.studio.
This role requires a deep understanding of the artist’s visual language and positioning. We are seeking someone who can thoughtfully identify specific galleries, curators, and collectors aligned with the work — not mass outreach.
In your application, please include:
A short paragraph outlining how you would position this body of work within the current art landscape
3–5 specific galleries, curators, or institutions you believe would be strong targets
A brief overview of your existing relationships within the art world
Examples of exhibitions, placements, or studio visits you’ve successfully facilitated
We are particularly interested in candidates who can secure meaningful studio visits and cultivate long-term exhibition opportunities.
